To Islamists : If Islam is suitable for every time and place, it should be flexible and adaptable because whether we like it or not societies change from time to time and place to place. If no contemporary , simple, flexible Islamic fiqh shows up, then either political Islam will fall apart -possibly for good- or your Islamic ideology will be merely a facade .
